Dear Washington County Schools’ Family, Hurricane Idalia made landfall this morning in Florida and is tracking across the state. As a category 3 hurricane, it will bring sustained high winds and rain in its wake. As we prepare for its impact on our area, we are preemptively canceling all afterschool activities for today, Wednesday, August 30th and will designate tomorrow, Thursday, August 31st, a remote learning day. We will assess the aftermath of the inclement weather and inform you of the status of our schools for Friday, September 1st, as soon as possible, so that you and your families may plan accordingly. PINES ELEMENTARY SCHOOL KINDERGARTEN TRANSITION was a big success. Parents and Scholars were given a tour of the school's office, Media Center, Cafeteria and Classrooms. The excitement was in the air. Great Job Staff for preparing, planning and working diligently for Scholars.

Good Afternoon WCS Parents and Scholars. Please join us this afternoon for the WCS Summer Camp Showcase, featuring Read to Achieve, Summer Bridge, CTE, and AIG Summer Camps. The Showcase will be at Washington County Middle School starting at 6:00 pm. All are welcome!
