If your kindergarten student health assessment and or immunization forms are not turned in, your child will not be able to return to school starting tomorrow, September 26 until the forms are turned in. Again, students with health assessment and or Immunization forms that are not turned in, they will not be able to return to school starting tomorrow September 26th until the forms are turned in. If you missed the WCS Substitute Refresher Training Class offered in July and in August, don't worry! A makeup class will be held on a October 2nd, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Pre-K Roper building. Just a reminder, without this training, you will not be eligible to substitute for the 2024 to 2025 school year at WCS.

Please help our school with promoting reading by purchasing books from our book fair. On Thursday 9/12, starting at 5:30pm, we will be having our Title 1 Parent Night. Please plan to come out to receive some important school information. Progress reports will be going home with students on Friday 9/13. Make sure you review your child's progress report and if you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your child's teacher. Parents, if you have not done so yet, make sure you accept the Remind request from your child's teacher. This allows for two-way communication between parents and teacher. Parents, be prepared to allow your child to walk into school on their on this week. We will have staff in the hallways to guide them in the right direction. Please fill out and return all forms that were sent home with your child as soon as possible. Parents of Pre-K and Kindergarten students, be reminded that all Physicals and Immunization forms have to be turned in within the first 30 days of school. If your child has medical concerns, please make sure that the teacher and nurse are aware and the paperwork is in place. The earliest drop off time in the morning starts at 7:45 am and the afternoon pickup starts at 3:30 pm. Parents, If you need to pick your child up early or change their transportation home for the day, please do so by 3:05 pm.
