This is Principal Peele with this week's announcements. MClass testing for Grades k-3 continues this week. Please make sure students are at school on time for the whole day each day. This week is Teachers' Appreciation Week.Teachers, thank you for all you do for students and the school. Students and parents, please let your teacher know that he/she is appreciated. Parents, there will be a McTeacher Night on Thursday 5/8. Please plan to eat dinner at McDonalds on Thursday night to support WCES. Ticket money for the Pre-k-1st grade Sneakerball on 5/23 is due by May 12th. Please let your child come out and have some fun with their classmates. Parents, if you have any questions or concerns about your child's progress, schedule a conference with his/her teacher. Thursday 4/17 is an early release day. School will dismiss at 12:15pm. Please plan accordingly. Thursday 4/17 is also Kindergarten registration day from 12:00 pm - 3 :00 pm for children that will be 5 years old by August 31st. Greetings Parents Guardians Scholar and Staff. As Per The Bus Garage: Bus 172 is not running today. We may have a driver to do a double route. Bus 169 is not running and buses 178 and 174 will pick as many of those students as they can. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Have a great day.

Parents and Guardians the Mobile Dentist will be on site at our campus until March 31, 2025. There is still time to sign your child or children up for services.

In response to the pending weather forecast, all Washington County Schools will follow an early release schedule tomorrow, Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Washington County High School and Washington County Early College High School will dismiss at 12:00 noon, while Washington County Elementary School will dismiss at 12:15 p.m.

Due to the icy conditions on the roads throughout the County, all Washington County Schools will be closed for staff and students on Friday, February 21st - Code Red.
