Good Afternoon WCS Parents and Scholars. Please join us this afternoon for the WCS Summer Camp Showcase, featuring Read to Achieve, Summer Bridge, CTE, and AIG Summer Camps. The Showcase will be at Washington County Middle School starting at 6:00 pm. All are welcome!
The Washington County Board of Education meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. located at 509 Adams Street, Plymouth, NC.
We will have closed session in accordance with NC General Statutes 143-318.11(a)(1) To prevent the disclosure of information that is privileged or confidential or not considered a public record under NC General Statute No. 143-318.11(a)(1) pursuant to 115C-319, 115C-402 and 20 US Code 1232g143-318.11(a)(3) in order to confer with the Board Attorney regarding a matter within the attorney/client privilege and to preserve that privilege; and with NC General Statutes 143-318.11(a)(6) in order to discuss one or more personnel matters that are confidential under North Carolina law. Current/New Substitute Orientation will be held on July 11-12 at 10am-1pm at the Pre-K Roper building. You must attend one of the dates provided to pursue employment for the 2023-2024 school year. You can only attend one session.
All current subs please check your emails for the link to confirm a date of orientation attendance.
