GREETINGS TIGER CUBS FAMILY!!
Students, Families, Staff and Community Stakeholders! I am Principal Gallop, at Creswell Elementary School with a few announcements for the week of March 20 - March 24, 2023
Character Education Trait for this week is Cooperation. Cooperation is the actions of someone who is being helpful by doing what is wanted or asked for, the common effort.
March is Women's History Month – commemorating and encouraging the study, observance and celebration of the vital role of women in American history.
MAKO Medical will continue to come on campus on Wednesdays for COVID Testing. There is still time to sign up if you need this service.
Tuesday, March 21, 2023 - Family Reading Night - The C.E.S Library will be open from 5:30 pm-6: 30 pm. Come out and read with your child and/or allow your child to be read to by their fellow Tiger Cub Family. ALL things reading will be shared tonight.
Wednesday - Thursday, March 22-23, 2023 Dental Van Day 1 - Day 2 to finish care started in January
Monday, March 27, 2023 - 6:00 pm - SPRING COMMUNITY MEETING CRESWELL in the WCECHS Media Center.
Monday, March 27, 2023 will begin NC Check Ins #3. Students do your very best on each of your assessments. Get a good night's rest prior to testing days.
Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. The WCS BOE meeting will be held at Washington County High School located at 800 East Main Street, Plymouth, NC. The open session meeting will be held in the Gym. Masks are optional.
On March 31, 2023 we will have our DUAL LANGUAGE SPELLING BEE FOR GRADES Kindergarten through Third Grade beginning at 1:30 pm. Parents and Guardians you are invited to come.
Read at least 30 minutes a day with your child or children and have them read to you. Ask them to explain to you what they have read for comprehension and understanding. Have them share with you each day what they have learned in school in each subject. It is very important to be in school each day from the beginning to the end to receive instruction. Students who ride the School Bus to stay in their assigned seat, put on their seatbelt until it is time for them to exit the bus and to use their inside voice. Parents and Guardians, please encourage your child to be on their best behavior in school and on the school bus. Please continue to be a CHAMPION in the lives of others everyday. El rasgo de educación del carácter para esta semana es la cooperación. La cooperación son las acciones de alguien que está siendo útil al hacer lo que se quiere o se pide, el esfuerzo común.
Marzo es el Mes de la Historia de la Mujer: conmemora y fomenta el estudio, la observancia y la celebración del papel vital de la mujer en la historia estadounidense.
MAKO Medical continuará viniendo al campus los miércoles para las pruebas de COVID. Todavía estás a tiempo de darte de alta si necesitas este servicio.
Martes 21 de marzo de 2023 - Noche de lectura familiar - La biblioteca de C.E.S estará abierta de 5:30 p. m. a 6:30 p. m. Salga y lea con su hijo y/o permita que sus compañeros de la familia Tiger Cub le lean a su hijo. TODAS las cosas que se leen se compartirán esta noche.

Lunes, 27 de marzo de 2023 - 6:00 pm - REUNIÓN COMUNITARIA DE PRIMAVERA CRESWELL en el Centro de Medios de WCECHS.
El lunes 27 de marzo de 2023 comenzarán los Check Ins #3 de Carolina del Norte. Los estudiantes dan lo mejor de sí en cada una de sus evaluaciones. Descanse bien por la noche antes de los días de prueba.
martes, 28 de marzo de 2023 a las 18:00 La reunión de la BOE de WCS se llevará a cabo en la escuela secundaria del condado de Washington ubicada en 800 East Main Street, Plymouth, NC. La reunión de sesión abierta se llevará a cabo en el Gimnasio. Las máscaras son opcionales.
El 31 de marzo de 2023 tendremos nuestro CONCURSO DE ORTOGRAFÍA EN DOBLE LENGUAJE PARA LOS GRADOS De jardín de infantes a tercer grado a partir de la 1:30 p. m. Padres y Tutores están invitados a venir.
Lea por lo menos 30 minutos al día con su hijo o hijos y pídales que le lean. Pídales que le expliquen lo que han leído para la comprensión y comprensión. Pídales que compartan con usted cada día lo que han aprendido en la escuela en cada materia. Es muy importante estar en la escuela todos los días desde el principio hasta el final para recibir instrucción.
