GREETINGS TIGER CUBS FAMILY!!
Students, Families, Staff and Community Stakeholders! I am Principal Gallop, at Creswell Elementary School with a few announcements for the week of February 13 - February 20, 2023.
Character Education Trait for this week is courage, the mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty.
MAKO Medical is continuing to come on campus on Wednesdays for COVID Testing.
On Wednesday, February 15, 2023, the 4th and 5th Grade classes will have the opportunity to experience a Table Etiquette Session for Mrs. Rebecca Liverman of the 4-H Agricultural Extension Agency.
Also on Wednesday, Progress Reports will be sent home. Check with your child for the Progress Report.
AGAPE School Based Health Services still comes to Creswell to provide services for Staff and Students. Please sign up to receive services when you need them.
When students are out of school for sickness, medical appointments and ect., please send a note to school for their absence.
Thank you to everyone who participated with our Student Government Association Cookie Dough Fundraiser. It was a huge success and we exceeded our goal. Everyone should have their orders by now.
KRISPY KREME DOUGHNUT FUNDRAISER Information scheduled to go home on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.
Progress Reports will go home this week. It is not too late to sign up for the PARENT PORTAL if you have not done so.
Please send in “PENNIES FOR PAWS”. The pennines are coming in!! The class with the most will receive a reward.
Monday, February 20, 2023 is an Optional Teacher Work Day for Staff and No School for Students.
February is Black History Month. On Friday, February 17, at 6:00 pm, there will be a Cultural Extravaganza Show at Creswell Elementary School in the multi-purpose room. As an International School with a truly diverse faculty and staff, it’s imperative that we share different aspects of our cultures with students and the community. With that said, students will be performing Jamaican, Filipino, and Honduran dances. Additionally, there will be solo musical performances, and the Electric Slide dance among many more fun and exciting activities. Our event will be hosted by two of our very vibrant Student Government Association members. Our students will appreciate it if you can join us as they take center stage to showcase their talents. Refreshments will be provided. Please come out to support our program.
The Scholastic Book Fair will be coming to Creswell Elementary School February 27, 2023 through March 10, 2023. More information will be sent home before that time.
Read at least 25 minutes a day with your child or children and have them read to you. Ask them to explain to you what they have read for comprehension and understanding. Have them share with you each day what they have learned in school in each subject. It is very important to be in school each day from the beginning to the end to receive instruction. Students who ride the School Bus to stay in their assigned seat, put on their seatbelt until it is time for them to exit the bus and to use their inside voice. Parents and Guardians please speak with your child or children about being on their best behavior in classes and on the school bus. Please continue to be a CHAMPION in the lives of others everyday. ¡Estudiantes, familias, personal y partes interesadas de la comunidad! Soy la directora Gallop de la Escuela Primaria Creswell con algunos anuncios para la semana del 13 al 20 de febrero de 2023.
El rasgo de educación del carácter para esta semana es el coraje, la fuerza mental o moral para aventurarse, perseverar y resistir el peligro, el miedo o la dificultad.
MAKO Medical continúa viniendo al campus los miércoles para las pruebas de COVID.
El miércoles 15 de febrero de 2023, las clases de 4.º y 5.º grado tendrán la oportunidad de experimentar una sesión de etiqueta en la mesa para la Sra. Rebecca Liverman de la Agencia de Extensión Agrícola 4-H.
También el miércoles, los informes de progreso se enviarán a casa. Consulte con su hijo para obtener el informe de progreso.
Los servicios de salud basados en la escuela de AGAPE todavía vienen a Creswell para brindar servicios al personal y los estudiantes. Regístrese para recibir servicios cuando los necesite.
Cuando los estudiantes estén fuera de la escuela por enfermedad, citas médicas, etc., envíe una nota a la escuela indicando su ausencia.

El lunes 20 de febrero de 2023 es un día de trabajo docente opcional para el personal y no hay clases para los estudiantes.
Febrero es el Mes de la Historia Negra. El viernes 17 de febrero, a las 6:00 pm, habrá un Espectáculo Cultural Extravagante en la Escuela Primaria Creswell en el salón de usos múltiples. Como una escuela internacional con una facultad y un personal verdaderamente diverso, es imperativo que compartamos diferentes aspectos de nuestras culturas con los estudiantes y la comunidad. Dicho esto, los estudiantes realizarán danzas jamaicanas, filipinas y hondureñas. Además, habrá actuaciones musicales en solitario y el baile Electric Slide entre muchas más actividades divertidas y emocionantes. Nuestro evento será organizado por dos de nuestros muy vibrantes miembros de la Asociación de Gobierno Estudiantil. Nuestros estudiantes apreciarán si puede unirse a nosotros mientras toman el centro del escenario para mostrar sus talentos. Se proporcionarán refrigerios. Por favor venga a apoyar nuestro programa.
La Feria del Libro Scholastic llegará a la Escuela Primaria Creswell del 27 de febrero de 2023 al 10 de marzo de 2023. Se enviará más información a casa antes de esa fecha.
