Good Evening Parents, This is Principal D. Peele with the weekly announcements. Parents, please be sure your child arrives at school before 7:45 am daily.
Parents of Seniors, please be reminded that your child is required to have the meningococcal vaccine within the first 30 days of school. If your child has not received the vaccine by September 2, 2022, they will not be allowed to come to school. This is a state-mandated requirement.
Monday, August 29, 2022, There will be a mandatory parent/student interest meeting for cheerleading at 3:30 pm in the cafeteria. Tryouts will begin Tuesday, August 29, 2022. All participants must have a physical examination form on file to try out.
Tuesday, August 30, 2022, our lady panther’s volleyball team will travel to play Mattamuskeet.
Wednesday, August 31, 2022, our JV Football team will travel to play Southside High School.
Thursday, September 1, our lady panther’s volleyball team will play a home game against Northeast Carolina Prep
Friday, September 2, 2022, our Mighty Panthers Varsity Football team will host First Flight HS
Monday, September 5, 2022, is a holiday. There’s no school for students or staff.
Seniors Drape and Tux photos are scheduled for September 24 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Students will receive an email to schedule their appointment.
The first Driver’s Education course will begin on August 29, students selected for the first course have received an email with more information regarding start and end times. Please remind your child that driver’s education is a privilege, not a requirement. Misbehavior will not be tolerated. Students may bring a snack with them to class; however, they will not be allowed to leave campus until their session has ended for the day.
