Special Called WC Board Meeting Notification (Closed Session Only)
The Washington County Board of Education will hold a Special Called Board Meeting for closed session only on Wednesday, August 31, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the Boardroom located at 509 Adams Street Plymouth, N.C. 27962.
We will have closed session in accordance with NC General Statutes 143-318.11(a)(1) To prevent the disclosure of information that is privileged or confidential or not considered a public record under NC General Statute No. 143-318.11(a)(1) pursuant to 115C-319, 115C-402 and 20 US Code 1232g143-318.11(a)(3) in order to confer with the Board Attorney regarding a matter within the attorney/client privilege and to preserve that privilege; and with NC General Statutes 143-318.11(a)(6) in order to discuss one or more personnel matters that are confidential under North Carolina law. The purpose of this meeting is to hold student reassignment/transfer appeal hearings. This will be a closed session meeting only.
