The joy, passion, commitment, and dedication of WCS students were on full display at Field Day today. WCS appreciates the partnership with Unified Champion Schools and the WCS Exceptional Children's Department for providing well-deserved moments of glory. Thank you to CES faculty for preparing a welcoming and inviting venue for today's competitions. Also, a big thanks to WCHS JROTC cadet volunteers, under the supervision of Sergeant Major Arnold, for leading the rotations. We could not have enjoyed today without the determination of the student athletes. Congratulations to all of today's participants!

WCS CTE Department hosted a "Careers on Wheels" event at WCMS. Students in 4th through 7th grades had the opportunity to learn about different professions in their community. Students had the opportunity to speak with a variety of professions including firefighters, law enforcement officers, truck drivers, EMTs, FedEx Drivers, Taxi Service Professionals, and more. The purpose of the event was to expose students to the different possibilities available to them in the future.
