Two students from WCS had the opportunity to attend North Carolina Governor's School this summer and represent our district in a big way. Shan'ylia Galindo-Pledger (WCHS) and Deshiyah Holley (WCECHS) both gave presentations at the recent board meeting to highlight their experience in the program. Both students reported an amazing, life-changing experience that will help shape their future education careers. We are proud of how they represented the district with excellence, and look forward to new students taking up the reigns next year. Be sure to visit our youtube channel and watch them live in action!
