The Pre-K Applications can be picked up from CES, PES AND Central Office starting on March 1st. Completed Applications ONLY will be accepted at CSS only starting on April 1st. Please read the application throughly and secure all of the necessary documentation when submitting the completed package.
"CES GOT TALENT" Scholars at Creswell Elementary School did an awesome job showcasing their talents. From singing to dancing to even telling jokes, each scholars was energetic and confident with their presentation. Thank You CES Staff for advising and mentoring our scholars beyond the classroom. Job well done by everyone.
Washington County Schools will host a DISTRICT ARTS NIGHT on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the WCMS/PES Gym in Roper, NC. The ART Work will be created by the scholars from each of our five schools. The ART Teachers from WCHS, WCMS, PES and CES have inspired the scholars to be creative with their unique masterpieces. WCECHS scholars are preparing ART WORK as well. Each of the performers are preparing their performance to showcase with our community. Please come out to support our scholars throughout the medium of the ARTS. The excitement is in the air!

The FAMILY AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT District Team will be hosting the Harlem Magic Masters with a FREE Community event on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at WCMS in the gym. The Harlem Magic Masters will utilize the medium of basketball to engage scholars with a variety of topics from anti-bullying to chronic absenteeism. Congratulations to WCHS Ke'Vontae Lucas on his Signing Day. He has announced that he will be taking his football skills, abilities and talents to Barton College. He shared that he made that decision after his visit there. He stated it felt like home and he felt comfortable. Ke'Vontae thanked his parents, grandmother, coach and teammates for all they have done for him on this journey.

WCHS will be pre-selling tickets tomorrow, Thursday, February 15th for the Blackout/Alumni Night vs. Bertie on February 16th. The school will begin selling tickets to students only from 7:30-8:00 am. Each student will be allowed to purchase one ticket. We will begin selling to the general public from 8:15 am until we sell out. Spectators will be allowed to purchase 3 tickets per person. Everyone will need to bring the exact amount to cover their tickets cost. Coach Crossen, Athletic Director
